Books by Mail
For patrons unable to visit a branch in person.
Books by Mail is a free service for SSPL patrons who can't visit a branch in person — due to mobility, health, distance, or temporary circumstances. We mail you books, audiobooks, and DVDs; you mail them back when you're done. There is no return postage cost to you; SSPL covers shipping both ways. Contact info@ssplibraries.ca or any branch to enrol.
Where + how
- Available to all SSPL patrons with an active library card
- Books, audiobooks, DVDs, and large-print materials
- No postage costs to the patron
- Loan period extended to account for mail transit
